What’s in those gummies?

The short answer

A bottle’s gummy count can look generous until you check the serving size. Find out how many pieces make a serving and how much of the ingredient those pieces provide.

Count the full serving

More gummies in a bottle doesn’t necessarily mean more of the ingredient you want. Find these numbers on the label:

  • Gummies per serving.
  • Ingredient amount in that full serving.
  • Servings in the container.

Read the other ingredients

The Other Ingredients list is where you’ll find sweeteners, gelatin and flavors. Read the allergen information as well.

The weight of a gummy includes its whole recipe. A 5 g gummy is not necessarily 5 g of creatine or protein. Use the amount listed for that ingredient in a full serving.

A popular gummy still needs a label check

Good taste ratings don’t tell you how much creatine or protein is in a gummy. A quality seal may cover ingredient amounts or contaminants. It does not prove a health benefit.

There are no gummy picks on the shortlist yet. We aren’t recommending a gummy brand here. The creatine comparison below covers preparation, ingredients and a worked price example.
