Naked vs Momentous Creatine: Certification, Tub Size and Cost

The short answer

Both compared labels list 5 g creatine monohydrate per serving. Naked has 100 servings in 500 g; Momentous has 90 in 450 g. Compare the certification record and your total cost before choosing a tub, and check the actual package and lot.

Start with these exact labels

This comparison covers US unflavored powder in the 500 g Naked Creatine tub and 450 g Momentous jar. A different size, flavor, travel pack or chew needs its own check. The serving amounts below describe labels; they are not a personal dose recommendation.

We compare published labels and certification records. We haven’t tested either powder ourselves or checked a current retailer package in person.

Which certification check matters to you?

Naked Creatine appears in NSF’s dietary-supplement listing under NSF/ANSI 173. That record names the powder and a 5 g scoop; its Product ID is All, and it does not independently state a 500 g tub size. The manufacturer label supplies that size and serving count. Contents Certified checks label contents and contaminants; it is a different check from the sport program’s banned-substance screening.

Momentous’s Certified for Sport record names US unflavored powder, 450 g and a 5 g scoop, with listed lots. Certified for Sport adds banned-substance screening to its certification requirements. For sport-related rules, match the exact product and lot in the current listing and follow your governing body’s requirements.

A certification record does not establish that one powder works better or determine whether you need creatine. Keep the ingredient, amount, what certification covers and cost as separate checks.

Check the current Momentous package and lot

The current manufacturer page says its Signature Spec creatine is NSF Certified for Sport and shows a Signature Spec label with Momentous-branded creatine monohydrate. NSF’s listing names Momentous US unflavored 450 g powder and specific lots, but its linked label still names Creapure creatine monohydrate. Both labels show 5 g and 90 servings, while the formulation branding differs.

We have not independently established that every current Signature Spec tub or retailer offer is one of the lots in NSF’s current listing. Check the package, ingredient panel and lot against that listing before relying on certification. Keep an unmatched package as an open question.

The existing catalog’s retailer matches and evidence dates are unchanged. This new label review does not certify a fresh Amazon offer, current price or every package sold under either brand.

Compare the cost for the same amount

The bigger tub is not automatically cheaper per gram. Use the total you would actually pay for each exact size, including shipping, taxes and discounts, in the same currency. Compare one-time purchases with one-time purchases, or subscriptions with subscriptions.

Divide Naked’s total by 500 and Momentous’s by 450 for cost per gram. Multiply each result by 5 for the cost of the label’s 5 g serving. The calculator below uses your entered totals and compares cost only; it does not pull live prices or rank effectiveness.

At equal total prices, Naked’s cost per gram is 10% lower. Momentous would need a total price 10% below Naked’s to tie its cost per gram. A lower price beyond that point makes Momentous cheaper per gram for these exact sizes.

We don’t pull live prices. The numbers you enter stay on this page and clear when you reload.

The calculator needs JavaScript. You can still compare manually: divide Naked’s total by 500 and Momentous’s by 450.
